The Educational Opportunity Program will be available to guide
and assist you through your new college experience. Students are offered a host of exciting workshops, study groups, tutorial
programs, individual and group counseling, and unique-faculty-student contact program. Students may also be eligible for an EOP
supplemental grant to help with college related expenses based on need. Other supportive services include:
Five-week
summer program (fall entering first-time students)
Contact with counselor on a regular basis
Financial
advisement
Study skills/orientation classes
S.T.E.E.P.S (Steps to Eliminate EOP Probation and Suspension Program)
Participation in local and state leadership conferences
Assistance in completing federal and state financial aid forms
Assistance with transfer to similar opportunity programs such as HEOP, SEEK, and College
Discovery within New York State
