Summer Program
Pre-freshman Summer Program
The Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) Pre-freshman Summer Program is a mandatory
five-week commuter program designed to provide sufficient support services such as college survival,
mathematics, writing, critical thinking, career awareness, and cultural enrichment above the norm that will allow
students a chance for success. This is an exciting introduction to college learning that allows the student to
adjust to a new environment, become aware of the responsibilities of a college student, and get to know other
prospective freshman as well as the college structure.
The program is a first step to a rewarding academic future. It is an experience that will help
you in building a support network during your college experience.
The
2008 summer program will be held from Monday, July 7, 2008 through Friday,
August 1, 2008 at the Brighton Campus.
