Services for Students
DCC Counselors provide a safe place where students can discuss a variety of concerns from academic to personal challenges. Our staff is available to speak to students about topics such as: personal growth; coping with stress; decision-making; career development; intimate relationships; parenting; expressing feelings; social skills; self-esteem; and much more! Our staff will also provide crisis intervention and referrals to community resources when necessary. We are dedicated to helping students think about their choices in relation to academic, personal, and career goals.
Services for Faculty
Counselors are available to provide workshops for faculty, through the WINS program.
Counselors are also available to consult with faculty regarding any concerns they have about the success of a student in their course. Contact Student Services to reach a counselor for assistance.
